π― The Challenge
</aside>
Participants should aim to:
- Identify ****an unmet need within the healthcare domain.
- Propose and validate a proof-of-concept solution that utilise recent advances in generative AI, including large language models (or, more generally, foundation models) and probabilistic generative models.
- Solutions should solve a clearly-defined problem, be innovative and impactful, and show potential for commercialisation. Note that that solutions donβt need to be a complete solution to a problem but they do need to align well to a specific problem and show potential for scaling up technically.
- More details are available in the next sections covering the final pitch to our judges, example projects, example datasets, and example foundation models for healthcare.
Forming teams:
- Teams will form on Saturday morning following an ideas pitch.
- Ideas pitch: if you have an idea, take to the mic and do a short 1 minute pitch to the room! Don't be shy! Even seemingly small ideas could transform into something big after some discussion!
- After the ideas pitch, get chatting and form teams. You will have 20 minutes to form teams. Keep teams small and agile.
